I enjoyed the book but it was kind of predictable near the end with a few twist

This was a good book to listen to. It would have been better with a different male reader. I almost quit listening to it because his voice just almost ruined it for me.

I loved this story. Was confused by sound effects at first but figured it out. Was not impressed with narration. I thoroughly enjoy JA Huss’ books. Im almost through all of them.

I’m vested so I need to know what happens but if I make it to the end, I’ll be returning this book. It really should’ve been included in Premium.First, narrators’ voices as themselves are just ok. Love JA Huss and her stories never disappoint, but the male narrator did not fit the role and took away from the book for me. Loved that the entire series was in one purchase though!

I liked this book overall. The narrators were slightly off. The male lead wasn’t convincing as an alpha male, and was a bit creepy. The female did a great job except when reading the male voice. A friend recommended this book to me. I really enjoyed the book. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and I was familiar with a lot of the major events that were mentioned

Although I find the audiobook extremely informative and interesting, the author and lead detective, to me, seems pompous, “never wrong”, full of himself, the list could go on. Although he may be a very good detective he seems like an (insert expletive) hole which, again to me, was off putting.
