I really like this author however I could not get passed the violence/ torture. It was too disturbing that I couldn’t get through half of the story.

The story was unoriginal and the narrator was not so good. I liked most of the characters but the story plot has been done so many times.

I couldn’t finish the story. I kept getting distracted by the terrible Bostonian accent. She was really overdoing it with the pronunciation of the the Rs. The Texas accents sounded weird too. I usually enjoy Mary Burton books. Maybe I’ll try to read the book if I got time.

Storyline was good, although I figured out the killer 2/3 rd of the way through. It was painful to listen to, however, as a Bostonian. If the voice of Jordon consistently used the terrible Boston accent one might get used to it, but sometimes the overdone incorrect accent was there, then it wouldn’t be used..

Loved it. Especially the narrator of Spencer. Kept me interested all the way through .

This book was well written and the narration was excellent. I personally love a good mystery. It’s even better when I have to dig into the story to see who the bad guy is. I got the bad guy approximately 2/3 of the way through. But there was more to the story.

Great book! Left me wanting more of the characters! highly recommend, author is fantastic

I like the mystery story……I’d recommend it to anyone that prefers audible over physical books; otherwise, buy the actual book! The reason for my rating was because the female narrators had a difficult time transitioning between characters & you can hear when they edited sections with yet another different voice even though it was supposed..

I really love Mary Burtons books! The strong characters she creates calls out to me to read more. I know there isn’t an announcement for a sequel to this book but I do hope there is one because they make a great couple and it will be interesting to see what Jordan does with her..
