Though this book was like many others, I was still intrigued and interested to keep listening to see what would happen next. Well written and performed.

I love this author and her FBI canine series was wonderful! I was really looking forward to this new series. I was disappointed when I first read it because the main character, Katie seemed immature and naive, hard for me to take serious. But I switched to Audible and Joyce Oben’s narration helped to settle..
I love this series. My only criticism is the male reader’s pronunciation of words. And I’m not talking about his Canadian accent (although Carson is supposed to be from Texas and growing up in California so that was distracting). The way he pronounced words like Yosemite and Orion were just a few of the words..
This series has the makings of a super cute fun story with great main characters and supporting characters. Rory’s story was sweet and heart breaking at the same time. I’m looking forward to listening to the rest of the series!

This is a great story. It was a bit slow at first but once it got going it really sucked you in and kept you guessing. Loved the characters and thought the narrator did a good job as well. Will be reading more of Jodi Burnett’s books.
