I enjoy reading YA mysteries and while I like Karen McManus’ books, I LOVE Holly Jackson’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy. Bury the Lead is probably the closest you can get to GGGTM’s intricate plotting and characterization. While I still prefer GGGTM, I definitely would rate this as a 4.5 or 4.75 out..
I nearly cried during some of the difficult times, meaning, I got sucked into the story. I think all of us curvy girls have thought negatively about our size at least once in our lives, maybe some of the newer generation feel differently since body positivity has been helping women out and hopefully men too…

I’d been waiting for this since the first book. The way it was written from both points of view was fantastic and we got their history. It was beautifully written and I couldn’t be happier with how the story was told. My heart broke from the beginning and I just couldn’t stop listening (audio book).
