I have read other novels from Wendy Saunders. The Guardian Series. I have a serious problem in putting down any of her novels. The Carter Legacy is just as fast paced and page burning! The reader did nothing for me, she spoke slowly, as if she were reading to a class of 3rd graders. Perhaps the story is better than what I heard. I can’t say I hated it, but I just didn’t LIKE it, I will not be listening to any more of Lucinda Gainey’s performances.
