A nice overview of using boundaries to keep oneself safe from emotional predators. A bit short. Performance sounded a bit robotic, possibly due to technical issues. Still, good overall.

What a wonderful story originating in Germany before the First World War and ending in 1980. The lives and decisions and conflicts of four generations of women is lovely and at times painful. Lynn Austin has again written a wonderful, deeply moving story
This book is a refreshing change for therapy for couples. I really enjoyed the new approaches that it brought. I plan to use that in my practice.

Ready to read the next one! Well done. Enjoyed the characters, like the suspense, good book. I prefer the narrator on the first book, it didn’t stop me from listening!

It’s unfortunate that this good story is almost painful to listen to; the reader sounds like she’s out of breath and chewing gum.
Lived this!! its like a prescription for the survivors of narcissistic abuse. Well- thought out and very clear. Very concise audio book. A must read!!!!
This is a story of four generations. Their ups and downs. It has a nice message which is forgiveness and Gods grace, but it just lacked action and turnarounds. It was just too slow for me. The narrator was excellent, the story just ok.

I could not put this book down. Recommended it to my daughter who is a Lynn Austin fan and she said she can’t put it down either.
While this is a short audible, the content is powerful enough to give one a clear foundational guide on how to establish, maintain and address boundaries. The tools provided can be used as a reference to establish a personalised resource, as each person’s individual definition and importance of said boundaries will vary.

saw some one star weird reviews that were hateful and angry towards victims. I don’t think she even used the word victim in the whole book. it was just a point blank black and white outline of behaviors and signs fromthe other person and from yourself. it’s true that if you have nervousness or insecurity..
