This is really a beautiful story. I loved it & I highly recommend it to all.

Great information that I really needed! Some parts seemed very repetitive but I guess that is part of really driving home the point of the book.The narrator was really hard to listen to…I put this on a faster speed to get through it a little quicker.

The performance by “Kitty Hendrix” of this sailing story is so wooden, so horrendous, it really sounds like a robot is reading. Yikes!The story itself is just okay, and rife with errors- although that could be the “narrator bot” taking matters into its own “hands.”

Catherine Pittman makes complicated brain science accessible to not only the provider, but the consumer of mental health treatment. the narrator is a little bit boring at times, but the repetition in the book is excellent. stick with it. and read it again and again. Good book to listen going down the interstate. Kept me alert. Many chuckles made the horrible traffic of Thanksgiving weekend bearable. Had a few “What?” moments in the storyline.

Very useful, but it is a lot of various therapy session retellings. If that’s your thing, you’ll dig this book a lot. Wish it spent a little more time on technique or pointing out. Happy I listened.

I will read the next book because my curiosity is piqued. I may have enjoyed it better with a different narrator.
