Very good book!

Review from Eve’s Daughters →

I’m a picky reader, but this book did not disappoint! I love how the women’s stores all weave together the history of their time. But mostly I loved the message of Gods loving grace throughout all generations, no matter what mistakes we make. He is always there.

Overcomer!

Review from A Shelter of Hope →

The human spirit to survive harsh, degrading circumstances, cruel influences in a young life, sprinkled with unfamiliar kindnesses ( when deciding to break free) defines this young girl’s life. Definitely a good read to press into .

Great story! A heartwarming tale that spans almost 100 years of heartbreak, happiness and grace. It is nice to read a book without vulgarity and terrible language.

haunting eerie tale

Review from A View from the Lake →

I love a good ghost story. “A View From The Lake” is an eerie ghost story about death. There are several chilling parts to this atmospheric story. Gifune pulls the reader into story where things are not as they appear. I found the characters in this book a bit lacking. I would of liked more..

A new author for me

Review from A View from the Lake →

I’ve never read this author before and I wasn’t used to his writing style. It was a bit too much of an artsy style for me. The plot is simple enough but it feels like the subtext is trying to be something it really isn’t. Im all for literary type books but this isn’t quite..
