What a great book to read about the imperfect lives of these women and how they reflected on their lives to gain perspective on their own struggles and how their faith has restored them despite being “wretched”.

So I don’t normally like these multi-generational stories — but this took over my life and has had me shaken and in tears for several hours. It’s real, it’s messy, it’s relatable; it’s convicting, and it’s beautiful. I’m still crying. It’s the Thornbirds, but with redemption.
