the story of the three generations was so well woven together. the story was so well written.

Plot was unbearable and the children annoying – when a demon creature came to life the entire book was done for me

If you’re into demons and possession, this is like a hallmark version of that. I won’t listen to this one again. Very disappointed.

This book is so well written, and complemented by such superb narration, that I will definitely listen to it again.It begins, and continues, to steadily, insidiously keep you in suspense through the end.

Well…I just finished listening; and what a scary book. Since it is nighttime, I will need to start another book before going to bed. If you like suspense and don’t mind your heart going a mile a minute, this book is for you.

Spoilers The mother’s horrible abuse was excused by demonic possession and those cuts she inflicted on her kids were her way of protecting them. Yeah no.
