Loved how the lives of these families were told, & interwoven so skillfully throughout the past & the future . God’s grace & forgiveness was a big theme as well. So well written!

I didn’t like how Rachal was portrayed in this story. Completely different from the first book. I had to fast forward several parts.. it got ridiculous how she was acting and her thought process. I had to fast forward a lot at the end, the who story got ridiculous.

This series continues to be a delight. It is such an easy and entertaining read. This time we have the murder of beauty queens, egg stealing opossums, and two precocious little boys. Really looking forward to the next book.

It took me awhile to get to book two after reading the first book in the series. The wait was worth it. I really enjoyed the story, the cast of characters, and the entertaining moments. This was a lovely cozy mystery. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

I literally stayed up all night to finish this book. Very creepy and unsettling, which is how I like it. The blue Jay imitations were especially creepy!

If you love cozy mysteries and shows like “The Great British Baking Show”, you may enjoy this one. Though it’s not great literature, it’s a fun diversion with a strong cast. There was only one reader (Stella, maybe?) whose voice bugged me, because it sounded over-acted, like she was on a stage in a theater…

The book was a interesting yet it was overwhelming in that it kept making worse and worse problems and challenges that really made it not lifelike

I enjoyed this book. I love cultural books, seeing how an individual changes in new situations

It’s rare to find a book that draws you in so emotionally and the reader is superb. The relationships of the three generations of the women are relatable. I am not brought to tears easily but I kept welling up by the lives of the characters. It’s a great read. I’ll look for more of..

A must listen to further understand yourself and manipulative people! Concise but packed with gems. I just finished listening and am immediately starting the book over now.
