lots of characters plenty of Adventures lots of ups and downs and people come in and out of the story some die someone some lose

Slow starter to a sprinting finish. So enjoyed the perseverance, intestinal fortitude and resilience. Readers need to stay patient, determined and ready to stand and cheer at the conclusion!

Development of the characters thru all the books was captivating to this reader. Same goes through the plots as they grew, merged and reached a literary crescendo, only to become interweaved across the country. I agree…believable. I want solar panels and storage batteries, like my younger sister and her husband in Reno, Nevada!

The books were very believable compared to other post-apocalyptic books I’ve listened to. I hope he continues the series as he stated in his authors notes.

This is a must read for all business owners. Be prepared to not only read, but to spend many hours preparing the content for implementation and finally implementation.

I love true crime. Great narrator. This was devastating. Left me with a broken heart for those babies.

Couldn’t finish the first book in the series. The author demonstrates impressive knowledge of weapons and pepper craft, but displaying that knowledge seems more important to him than advancing the story. Listened to this book as California was hit with the fires. My listen was not planned; just happened. My heart breaks for all those affected by the fires. It made listening to this book a bit more real. If you listen and you love dogs you will find yourself saying “what about the dogs!”.

This is a great listen if you like Franklin Horton you will like this as well

I love the storyline.. but, Kirkland writes Soldiers belonging to the USANG who have been warfigjting for 2 decades as simple, weak and similar to some conscripted foreign national. there is no way a group of cartel members would be able to overrun M1A tank crews.
