Excellent continuation to the story that started with Locker Nine. Not very extensive character development but that’s not what I expect/want from a Mad Mick story 🤨. Narrator has a great voice for male characters (he IS Connor) but it’s deep with a slight waver so all the women sound like little old hags.
a better narrator could have helped….more than that though, the spreading of MAGA nonsense was unnecessary, and not important to the storyline, and 90% provably untrue…. turned me off it completely.

I’m only on chapter 9 so far but what stands out the most is that a couple of these boys need to quit thinkin with their dicks if they want to survive. Also, if you’re gonna go after a venomous snake for dinner, please be aware that they can still bite even hours after decapitation…
it had a bit of a slow start on thr first novel,, but ramped up quick. got to enjoy the characters and really get a sence of them and their struggles. all in all very well done and enjoyed it.
the African union, a league of African nations invaded florida for the purpose of capturing white women? This story is reminiscent of birth of a nation. I generally enjoy this type of book but some literature is written with the intention of creating division.
