great realistic book on what happens if the lights go out. great characters and action descriptions as the fight for freedom raged.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series. This one not so much. The plot felt very forced with little action until the end. Barb’s character, in particular, really grated on my nerves so badly I almost did not finish it.

It was jumbled at the end, seemed rushed to end it. The story was a good one all be it more fantasy than likely.
