I’m half way through book 2,love the story but the Barb character gets a little annoying at times. at first I was like “hell yeah, she’s a badass,then as the story progresses she just gets annoying. Great story so far though.

Too many people and weird names, same names and switching from person to person. Couldn’t finish.
I stumbled onto the original series – American Apocalypse through the preview clips audible as started doing at the end of books. I loved that series and this one. In the American Apocalypse series is where you get introduced to Grandma Harp. OMG the witt of that woman. Both are worth the read/listen.

Solid work from Tom and Kevin. Book 3 was my least favorite for over stretching the story. The story overall was a great change for this genre and worth the listen. I recommend it and I purchased extra credits to get all the books when the hook was set. Not many series I will do..
Great book, when you thought it couldn’t get worse it does. I just loved this 5pk. characters die and you feel so attached.
I can’t wait for the next one!!!! Already bought it and ready to download. Dan has been through a lot before the story even gets started. It really sets up the way he is thinking.

While I was hesitant at first to purchase this book, I was not disappointed. Great writing, a few too many minor characters to keep track of, but I could actually picture the story. It is definitely worth the credit I used. And who doesn’t love Kevin Pierce’s narration in the P/A genre?
