I have never listened to anything by Steven Bird before but I would definitely consider picking up another of his books to try out. disappointed in references to the 911 conspiracy theory as fact. I love fiction but this spins a little to much. needs to be based on the whole truth and not someone else’s interpretation of truth. sorry

I like the description of preps that work and the story of multiple families striving to survive. Not too keen on the product placement ads though. Sometimes they’re really gratuitous. Overall, I like the series. Somehow I wish the author were above the ads.
a lot of character background seems like was used to fill in the story . lacked thrills & climactic moments!
I have loved this series since the first word of the first book, Fight Like a Man. The characters sucked me in, making me laugh, cuss, and cry. I can’t wait for book 3!!!
