Great narration, but the story is a long-winded survival guide with constant in-your-face religion. If you’re into religious stories it might be good.

Author plays game of “let’s pretend dee casteel is the victim.” Folk psychology bordering on gibberish is employed–unsuccessfully–to make a cold-blooded killer sympathetic. Meanwhile, narrator whistles through bad dental work. Don’t waste your time.
