Another post apocalyptic novel ringed with the normal atrocities that face the main characters. Don’t be put off by the image of a young girl fighting undefinable odds. The book actually focuses on an entire community. This is why I enjoyed this book. It’s a good read and the characters are well defined. No actions..

didn’t get far. as soon as i realized that this was just a watered down christian story trying to pass itself off as dystopian, i dropped it.
Great true crime author…kept my interest throughout…I am a court reporter so I love the recounting of trials. As usual, superb narration. Bought the book because of narrator.

I did a review previously but had to come back and expand. I am never disappointed reading Mark Goodwin’s books. If you haven’t read the Days of Noah series, please do so and The Days of Elijah too. You can even recommend them to your mother or pastor. Never boring, always fast paced and thoroughly..
