A wasted credit. The religious overtones and rants of religious persecution are too much. Kevin Pierces narration is top notch as always.

The fiction of the series has some basis in realism. However, while the voice actor helps sell the fiction, it only carries it so far. This book strays the furthest from the realm of common sense. While evident in regularity, the mimicry of voices even under stress is laughable in its ridiculousness.

The camaraderie that the character developed throughout all books hardened me and gave me a sense of momentary happiness as everyone struggled to survive and overcome the horrors and brutalities of war.

Mad Mick is a great character. I’m looking forward to the next book. This is my second time reading this one. the narrator is perfect.

liked the beginning like any other prepper. stop mob mentality and robbing preppers. then the characters started doing it themselves excusing it along the way. I was done. couldn’t finish. turned into Rob the rich.
