Kevin Pierce is perfect for this book. Fantastic bit of fiction. Kept my interest right up to the end. There were a few very minor technical flaws, but not enough to talk about. The technical things the author got right was impressive.

Plenty of character development and plausible storyline. Main characters are depicted with flaws, makes them more likable

Great narrator and good story. Going to get another book by him. Would recommend to everyone.

The narrator reads too fast. I slowed it down to .85. I also don’t like the gravelly voice. With it slowed down it helped that out too.

Good narration and entertaining enough story. It could have been so much better. The characters just fell flat for me. Very little emotion. I can tell it was written by a man. Nothing really wrong with that but I just can’t relate to the characters or empathize with them. Emotionally intelligent as a 3rd grader.

As always, Olsen has written an excellent account. If you are triggered when children are involved, be extremely cautious as the story involves infants.

I listened to these as the prequel to the other 3 book series with Marcus Battle. Enjoyed them all!
