Interesting story sadly ruined with one dimensional stereotyped characters and political judgments. poor people are obviously lazy or bad or stupid. Women without husbands to guide them are silly and make bad judgments until they learn the error of their ways. Men who are not preppers or weren’t raised in the country don’t have anything..
Excellent post apoc story with well fleshed out individuals to love and to hate. Great stories

Narrator was top notch. Will listen to more of their work. The books, however, just aren’t for me. I can get behind the idea of terrorist attacks disabling the country. Very plausible idea. I can get behind the idea of someone being a “prepper” or “survivalist” or whatever. Honestly, I feel ill-prepared for ANY emergency..

another great book in a serious of what the world would be like in a SHTF situation.
Liked the subject matter which could be useful to gauge social behavior on long term power outages.No dislikes so far except not having a due date, instead of month, for Prep 4.
