I’ve never listened to a series where I’d have to start a 2nd series while I’m 9 books in or be lost on a main character’s story. Charlie is a villain now and I’d have to listen to 5 books of a separate series to find out why. Really stupid choice by this author here,..
The first book or two in the series sounded like a man trying to justify his prepper purchases to his wife. The stories have taken on a life of their own and are entertaining and captivating. Great narration.

This is a true gem if you like to imagine what things will be like after the rapture.
The series is awesome, hitting hard right off the bat. However, in the last book especially, I think the shock value may have been overdone a bit. It was good but the flash backs I didn’t quit under stand why those were brought up. But I do like all the books so far.
Good book, narration was good as well as the story lines. Would recommend for listening.
