I like the feeling of sadness that turned into Glory. Time and time again. The variety of characters throughout all 3 books. How creative people became to survive each day.

I wasn’t expecting too much out of the box sets 1-3 & 4-6 first of all it’s a bargain if you go through as many audiobooks as I do. The story was very believable to a point. Great characters and humor when needed

The War??? What War? What an anticlimactic ending to the War. It’s hard to believe any State military or the National military could be that weak to be basically defeated in what, a day and a half? Is Washington State really that weak… even with all the factors described (repeatedly) leading up to the end..

I overall thought this is a researched well written book. Work fall short is the author theorized too much without having the evidence to support such theories.

too much explanation. it was boring and I could tell what was going to happen next.

I first heard the coauthored version of this story and really enjoyed listening to that. it’s much longer of course. so I wasn’t sure if I wanted to listen to this one but it is really different in enough ways that both versions are really worth your time.
