Great plot. Very accurate. Encouraging. Suspenseful. Exciting. Even humorous at times. I really appreciate the wholesome writings of Mr. Goodwin.

The parts about child sex trafficking and cannibalism were a little disturbing and it didn’t need to be touch on as much as it was.

I Love the books. With all the action it should be made into a movie.

First half of book one was tough to get through. After that I really enjoyed it.

I loved the Scriptures at the beginning of each chapter. I let me know what to expect!!

I love that the main characters struggled earlier in life and prepared for the breakdown.

I was surprised at how much I liked this series, I’ve listened to a bunch of post apocalyptic books and this one is one of the best.

If you’ve listened to the first three, you will want to continue with this one. I deducted one star from the Story category not because it’s bad, but it felt like there were a couple of parts that were flirting with “filler”. I had given up on apocalyptic fiction … too many of the books I was buying were poorly written, with cookie-cutter story lines.
