By far the best survivalist book I’ve listened to in a while. Already starting on the second box set

Some have complained about the language but it isn’t that bad. Good story line and exciting.

how the daughter & father got along…the way the peoples join together to defend the county…

not much on the handyman murders. mostly history and birth of houston in negative way

Bought the next boxed set and more… great story line kept me entertained wanting more of it …great Narrator

a nice change from zombie apocalyptic plots,, can’t wait to start the next chapter soon

The voices of the characters leave a lot to be desired. It is a small annoyance as the narrator is exceptional in every other way. Love the series and can’t wait for the next book!

non-stop action, amazing storyline, plausible characters, and superior narration! the Mad Mick is a character that everyone can love, and the survival methods are things everyone should keep in their hip pockets.

I love this narrator so much. His voice is so comforting and soothing but still in a way that he reads with the right emotion depending on what is going on the story. Overall I liked these books as well. I believe there is another book set that I plan to listen to next.

I really loved this series. it’s kind of scary that it could really happen.
