This was an exceptionally good book. I enjoy reading books written by authors whose perspective is different from my own and this book certainly had that. I also enjoy books which contain at least a little that is familiar, and this book had that as well. It was written by a woman in the 1920s..

This book had amazing details about Gone with the Wind author, Margarett Mitchell. I understand how she wrote the book. Where the book came from and who the author was. This biography was as interesting to me as the fictional book, Gone with the Wind.
I enjoyed the tone and pace of this book. Doris Steven’s personal point of view as well as those of her fellow suffragists was much more interesting then similar books.
