The heartfelt and detailed delivery of this story really touched my soul. There were times I wanted to stop listening bc it was so difficult to hear what these families endured, but I pushed through. I’m so glad I did. I was reminded that the human spirit can’t be broken and there is always hope…

This book disgusted me in general. But the worst part was the narrator not being able to pronounce words with an “OL” sound. For example “shoulder, older” are pronounced “shoder, and oder”. Don’t bother reading this unless you like pedophilia and men who have no self control.

The story was ok. The reader was the only reason I listened to the whole. The sex described was more than the story needed.
Although the content made me feel uncomfortable at times, the story was well thought out and beautifully written. Couldn’t stop listening. 
I’ve read a ton of mixed reviews as went along listening to this novel. At first, I agreed with those pointing fingers that this book is pro pedophilia. Then as I went along, it showed me more and more what a true connection these two characters had. I know it’s hard to see past, but..

This entire series was fantastic! A.R. Torre is one of my favorite authors, but this series is hands-down my favorite of hers. The narrator is awesome and I can’t think of a single thing to complain about. Miss Torre- please revisit the lives of D, Mike and J again soon! I already miss them!
