Review from The Con Man’s Daughter →

I really enjoyed this book! It made me laugh, made me cry. mostly made me cry. But nonetheless very good! raw truth. It brought back bad memories of some of my own childhood, I think that’s why I related to it so well. beautifully told and to narrated. And written!

Annoying narration, decent story

Review from Eversea →

The narration was so slow I had to bump up the speed to 1.4 to make it tolerable. I also don’t like the narrator’s southern accent. The story was good, but it’s annoying that Boyd made the main character a 22yo virgin, and it’s also annoying that the story is split in two books.
