I shouldn’t review this selection. I thought I liked romance but maybe it’s time for me to change genres. Maybe it’s the ADD in me but I get annoyed with a inner dialog of each MC. I get restless and impatient having to listen to the doubts and struggles. This is a great love story…

I love Annette Marie, and this series has started so well. The narrator is so good, she is able to give different voices to the characters and really shows the story well.
I loved this book. I think mostly how it pushed the boundaries of what real and true love is. I felt EVERYTHING! Thank you.

The many individual stories make this a great peoples’ history. Even though many of the stories are tragic, I couldn’t stop listening. I learned much that is relevant today, not just about Russia.
