This story has a lot of crazy twists and turns conflicting situations but also very relatable. One of the best stories I’ve listened to on this app.

The person reading the story made the character come alive. The plot was lacking. However, it is filled with details that describe the boarding school experience well. I appreciate that the characters are morally ambiguous.

Excellent book that had me hooked all the way through. I will be reflecting on this for a long time. Makes me wonder if some people in my rural and impoverished community may be in similar situations.

This book what’s devastating and exhilarating and then at time frustrating, but very relatable. This author knows how to invoke so many emotions- she’s excellent at this. Can’t Finish this book because of all the pedophilia references. Wish I would have read the book reviews before clicking on this one.

I just cannot continue. It may get better but I just don’t need this as my listen now. I am surprised that this has been selected as a Battle of the Books for middle school twice in NC.
