Honestly, the book was enjoyable until the author developed female characters whose place in society was only to bare children, raise children, attend to the needs of the males and the home. Really? Also, the narrator would mix up the voices of his characters and the recording skipped occasionally.

The story is told with a couple of flashbacks since there are a lot of history that comes before and i would have liked the story to start at the beginning since i Think it would have made it even better, but as it is it is still a good story of sort of forbidden..
