Great series – love the characters!

Review from Family Plot →

John Picket continues to mature as an investigator and his relationship with Lady Julia continues to blossom. There were parts of this mystery that I caught on to early, but that didn’t lessen the entertainment value. I’m enjoying this series and think anyone who likes a good English cosy mystery would enjoy this as well.

I rather enjoyed this book

Review from Absolution →

This is my first Sloane Kennedy novel. I have always liked polyamorous stories but this is the first one I’ve read with 3 males. it was rather intense. There are elements of the story I felt were problematic and in need of greater clarity but that did not take away from the beauty of the love..

In love

Review from Red Dirt Heart 2 →

I’m in love with this series. I love the fact it goes beyond the initial attraction/getting together stage and delves in to the actual relationship development. Beautifully written. This one seems to suffer less from a US editing than the last one. I’m going to be seeking out more by this author. This narrator brings a..

To be honest this book made me a little angry. It was a good story and all, with Joel Leslie doing a fantastic job! But I dont know how menny times I wanted to smack Vinnie on the head! He acted like a child and all the problems really happened becouse he wasnt honest about..

I love this series. I’ve wanted to see it on Audible for years, so I was super excited when it appeared. Kimo, the protagonist, is a great character. He’s not just a cop, but a regular guy, a friend, a son, a brother. Love that he surfs and how he feels about surfing, like it’s..

Nice ending for the series

Review from Equipoise →

First, let me say that the Ennek Trilogy exemplifies the magnitude of Kim Fielding’s immense world-building abilities as well as her gift with writing. She’s created compelling characters in a complex world and given them arduous and evocative hurdles to overcome. I really enjoyed books one and two and this is a lovely third installment..

‘Fifty Shades’ remake

Review from How to Bang a Billionaire →

OK so the author changed the name & the MCs are gay but this book followed the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ storyline so closely that I wondered about the legality of it!! However, I loved the ‘Fifty Shades Trilogy’ & didn’t mind this spin on the story. Sometimes I got turned off by the whininess..

Big fan of the series but…

Review from Dom of Ages →

I really did enjoy the story line of this book, but I did not enjoy the narrator’s take on the characters. He made everyone sound twice their age which put me off. But if you are a fan of this series like I am it’s still worth the listen.
