like the review title says, this book brings hope. I’ve always been annoyed how LGBT lit is all erotica, doomed romance, or some sort of Sundance style movie about loss. This one has equal amounts of adventure and romance. it’s about time a gay character brings in some adventure!

This book felt a little lopsided to me. The overall performance by the narrator was great; however, once the resolution happened between the protagonists the story fell off.
