I really enjoyed this story. I worried that since it’s a short romance that it would just be a bunch of sex, but there was real character growth and story development. I really hope that more books will be added since there were things left unresolved. can’t wait for more.

I love these books. So much fun. The characters are brilliantly developed and can get a good laugh out of it. I can’t wait for the second one. You do need to read the other but isn’t completely necessary to enjoy.

There were some interesting concepts, like a world grappling with empaths capable of weaponizing emotions. The overall vibe was like Minority Report or Jessica Jones or any number of comic book arcs where the populace fears what they don’t understand and therefore try to contain, convert, or corrupt. But the execution of the story failed..
The story and plot has gotten extremely exciting and nail bitting and the steamy scenes are appreciatively more steamy. I can’t wait to start the next book.
