I like the way the book ended, not in a neat little social norm bow, but something that a real person might do

I look at this book many times, and would not pick it it, I wish I had sooner it was sad but enjoyable to read.

The humor from Carter and the aliens kept me riveted. Great plot aided by the narrator!

Once again Julie comes through with another great story! She never disappoints. Loved the setting and the characters especially Tyse and that voice 🔥 Narrators, some of my favorites, were spectacular and really brought the story to life.

I liked the complex characters in the books. Even though they were written by same author they were all quite different.

Yanni’s story is so big (both impact-wise and a long one), so heartwarming, touching, and at times hard to hear. Joel Leslie’s narration is absolutely wonderful, his soft Yanni voice is my favorite. I did enjoy this book, but I almost quit several times because Eliot’s accent was so terrible. Is he supposed to be from Boston? Australia? Canada? It’s some weird mish-mosh that was off-putting and hard to listen to. Joel Leslie is a great narrator and I’ve never had this reaction to him … disappointing.
