Accent almost ruined a good read

I did enjoy this book, but I almost quit several times because Eliot’s accent was so terrible. Is he supposed to be from Boston? Australia? Canada? It’s some weird mish-mosh that was off-putting and hard to listen to. Joel Leslie is a great narrator and I’ve never had this reaction to him … disappointing.

At first I had mixed feelings about this one because the main characters aren’t the same as the first two books. But at the same time those first two books were heavy. This one is MUCH lighter, but not too light. And I love these guys! Of course, I love age gap romance 😍 ❤️..
