If you like Fred the Vampire Account, and you like high fantasy, this is a book for you. Unassuming hero falling into extraordinary circumstances trope done perfectly. Great ensemble cast as well.Reads a bit like a 90s anime in the best ways.

Enjoyed the story – of course – the “wanna be” drama could have been avoided- but be patient- the bond between twins is a decent enough explanation. The spice was quite nice!
