The story was enjoyable but it jumped back and forth on the different characters perspectives without any notice. The narrator didn’t do a good job in changing of voices to know whose thoughts and experiences were occurring. I spent a lot of time rewinding to try and understand. I liked the overall story though.

A thoroughly enjoyable ride. As an traditional adventure story, it’s right up my alley. Add to that the lovable characters, amusing writing voice, and rich lore, and you have a story that you just don’t want to turn off. It’s definitely worth the listen!

I’m mostly in this series for the narration. There are some mixing issues that I didn’t notice in the previous book—an obvious change in quality where certain lines must have been rerecorded—but the narration itself is consistently strong throughout.
