Sweet Slow Burn

Review from Zachary →

This story was very well done! The characters took a bit of time to get together but once they did…it was magical! Wonderful narration of a great story!

Who doesn’t love a good cowboy love story?

Review from Red Dirt Heart →

Really enjoyed this Walker/ Leslie combo ( my favorite combo) and this was a lot of fun. Looking forward to the next volume, which I start tomorrow. lol. Not my favorite Walker novel, not as heart-tugging as her usual fare, but still damn good. And, as always, well written. Expertly narrated.

Bland…just so dull

Review from You’re My Beat →

This was just two guys constantly thinking about how fit the other was and flirting was every middle school quip the author could think of it seemed to me. No connection, no chemistry. Silly and halfway through it became apparent it would just meander on through immaturity to some kind of supposed HEA and I..

Brilliant narration and story

Review from French Fancy →

When I chose to review this book, the first reason was the narrator. I absolutely love Joel Leslie as a narrator. The second reason is that I have yet to read or listen to a Lily Morton book I didn’t like. I have to say, this one might be one of the best ones yet…

Better than expected

Review from White Noise →

I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was sweet and low angst. The main characters were likable and interesting. Narration was on point and I love the accents. It was good.

loved this book, but not the narrators

Review from Project Hero →

the narration was cringy. I got used to it and was able to ignore it, but it did this book such a disservice. Andy came across like he was autistic or something instead of being quirky, quiet, weird. slow burn, excellent plot progress, plenty of good tension in all the ways that you’d expect in real life…

emotional rough ride

Review from A Kingdom of Lies →

The story held me captive, even when I wanted to look away. The author doesn’t hesitate to have bad things happens to established characters. The events were important to progress the storyline, but somewhat gut wrenching. This 2nd book was just as good as the first, but definitely an emotional rough ride. Can’t wait to..

I should have downloaded the entire trilogy…

Review from Stasis →

Stasis is the first book of Kim Fielding’s fantasy MM romance series, the Ennek Trilogy. The premise is intriguing and due to the nature of the trilogy, I was really kicking myself for not purchasing the other two books as well after finishing book one in the middle of a flight. It tells the story..

I enjoyed this interesting story.

Review from Stasis →

I got excited when Kim Fielding offered me a free copy of this audiobook. I’ll be meeting her this summer and while I’ve read and/or listened to other of her books, it’s been a while. Stasis is narrated by one of my favorite audiobook performers – Joel Leslie – and I always love listening to..
