Wonderful plot & character development. The story kept an engaging pace with a lot of world building without exaggerating to the point of redundancy and boredom. I love duet narration and while one of the male narratorās voice kinda made my eye twitch, I could get past it since he wasnāt reading the whole time.
I enjoyed this slow-burn romance with humour, banter, friends to lovers and found family. Frankie’s a widower whose husband was his business partner Con’s best friend. So it’s understandable that when he finally realizes (3 years after his husband’s death) he has feelings for Con, he’s reluctant to act on them, especially since Con now..
It was really hard to listen to this book. I love the story and Iām invested in the series, but this was not the best narrator for this book.

Terrible. Whoās giving all these 5 star ratings??? Two of the narrator drove me nuts I had to keep skipping their chapter. Story was boring. wasted a credit.
One more book by Lily to add to my favorites list š Iām so glad I decided to wait for audiobook to be released before reading this novel for the first time! š I loooove Lily Mortonās books for their charming British atmosphere, humor, chemistry between MCs, sweet HEA and good written characters and story..

This book was written for simple smut purposes. There is no love story, and there was not enough to the storyline to finish listening to the audio.
Amazing world building and rich characters. The story is beautifully told with great dialogue. A nice balance of action, funny moments and a love story. John Solo once again outdoes himself with his narration.
I enjoyed this story when it came out last year, but the audio with the extra epilogue was even better! Joel always does the best accents and somehow made the lack of communication less annoying to me. Frankie, Con, and the colorful cast of characters (including our dear Max!) made for a very fun novella…

Engaging from the first sentence to the last! Loved it and the humor was perfect!
