I loved every minute of the story. But there wasn’t much development. Really it felt like half a novel. I was waiting for an epic battle or a twistiy or hectic situation and it never really came. That being said it’s still a great book and do not pass it up.

Decent creature from the deep story

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Although this book was a bit formulaic, I still enjoyed it for what it was. It was part Loch Ness story (if Nessy was eating people) and part Lake Placid. The characters themselves, were fairly well developed..

I’m a pretty big fan of David Wood. I really enjoy his books for the most part. This one requires more of an open mind than most. The story was a bit of a stretch. I was unsure how the authors would pull everything together. But it was done well imo. Not a fan of..

Review from Villains Rule →
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect going into this one and boy was I in for a pleasant surprise! This tale was highly entertaining, funny and unique from top to bottom. I love the idea of taking the villains/heroes universe with all of it’s known rules/tropes and allowing for the manipulation of one ‘bad..

Review from Earth Alone →
The author can’t seem to be able to tell the reader what is happening in smooth succinct language. Maybe he is still stunk in college trying to reach the word count requirement of his English 102 professor. When explaining how a character thinks, feels or otherwise experiences the world around him the author strings together..

Review from Villains Rule →
This book is very funny, very clever and lots of fun. It pokes fun at the stereotypes of heroes and villains and the plot devices commonly found in fantasy stories. It also makes some social commentary about various and sundry modern day, real world things (for example, millenials). Be aware that the book contains the..
I think fans of 50 shades will love this book
Review from Heart of Stone: The Stone Series, Volume 1 →
I have struggled over this review, more than I ever have any others. I contemplated not reviewing it at all. Contrary to what some people believe reviewers/ bloggers don’t like to be negative, but we also don’t feel the need to give everything 5 stars. Which is why, in the end, I’ve decided to write..
