made it further than I normally would have because of the phenomenal narration. story, characters, and plot were thin on actual Kaiju action and heavy on repetitive fluff that distracted from the plot. yet another giant monster story that misses the point: we’re here for the monsters, not the people.

Good plot twists. I was a little hesitant if the double narration, but it fit the story well. The overall story was a little whacky, but that’s what I like. I’m excited for all the books to come together.
