Although the initial concept of devolving do the days of Vikings after the apocalypse was an interesting one, we see very little of that life, except for the fighting. I loved the concept of this book and how old Scandinavian roots intertwine with what was modern day society. The characters were all great and there was plenty of action to keep me entertained. The story was very interesting. It had a solid story line, with you never knowing what was next. The ending felt a little rushed, but it left room for a sequel. The performance. was good and steady helping hold your focus. Well worth the time.

i dont usually like series, but this one captured me through all 4 books. appropriate ending.
Love the book. The only thing that is off is the narrator. While Jeffery does a good job, I’ve listened to Nathan’s voice carry me thru the stars for years now. having listened to his first books at least a dozen times or more. This book will never seem truly complete, unless Mr. Lowell’s voice..
