This is a book that takes turns the typical fantasy tropes on their head and utilizes them in the most ingenious ways. This is my favorite “villain” by far!!!!!!

The two main characters in this novel both had secrets and kept things hidden from each other. At times I felt like they did not know what they wanted in the relationship and all the secrets made it hard to trust each other. I enjoyed this story at the beginning however about half way through..

As always Jeremy Robinson books are absolutely amazing. I can’t believe how he can put so much effort and research into every book. Just buy it. This is the second book in the series , so get the first book first. I have never heard anything he’s written that i did not like.
I was never exposed to the subject of BDSM. It was interesting, I must confess. The narration for Chris was not convincing at all and I got the feeling that she is a teenager instead of a grown woman. The emphases in the reading and the tone almost forced me to give up the book..

This novel continues the plot,character development, emotions and thrills of the BOTS series. It leaves you satisfied and a little sad. All in all a great read/listen. Kafer is excellent as always. Thankfully the next book is out. And I can’t wait to read/listen to it.
