More in the musing style of Heinlein than the action / event driven modern vogue, Nathan Lowell’s Solar Clipper series starts slow and lets you get to know the characters and setting naturally. Wonderfully engaging, one of the few series I revisit every few years.

Just shut up and listen.

This story is a must for the true geeks out there. This delightful lampooning of all things fantasy will have you giggling, chuckling, guffawing, and outright laughing hysterically.
