I tried to be open minded but in the end I found the whole book redundant and boring except the last few chapters. I kept waiting for Carla and Otto to hook up but it never happened and was greatly disappointed. It would have made the book a lot more interesting.

Everything you want from a horror novel

Inventive, terrifying, engrossing, this novella gave me everything I look for in a great horror story. The cenobites are an incredible addition to the horror canon of great monsters and it was nice to read something that didn’t feel like just another King knockoff. This one doesn’t disappoint!
