I enjoyed this book overall but it really felt like the characters were stuck in a pinball game. They spent the whole story just bouncing wildly from one location to the next and from one catastrophe to the next without ever getting a chance to really flesh out the setting or characters they met along..

Little disappointed that they jumped ahead 4 years having said that the story itself is good but they skipped his whole academy experience which could have been a good storyline…. This particular story was interesting and dealt with a lot of issues that have contemporary relevance. All in all good story but they’re moving ahead..
Haven’t found such an enjoyable sci-fi series in a bit. Even those who aren’t hardcore sci-fi fans will love it. Mr. Wang is such a great character; I’d love to have an omelette with him on the mess deck. The narration makes the character. I’m so glad I took the chance on the series

It’s a good story. Very mellow. No action. Looks if feminine undertones. I read book 1 & 2 but I won’t continue the series. No adventure at all. Mostly about fashion, clubbing and getting laid. The entrepreneurial part was pretty interesting but even that became boring.
