The story was a little too woke, a bit simple on motivations, but mostly it never made me very sympathetic or close to the characters. Add all the gender fluidity on top and you wonder what the authors purpose was.

Great series with interesting characters. I just wish everyone wasn’t winking every five minutes. What group does that? Also, tip-toeing is walking, as opposed to getting up on your toes.
