I didn’t realize that this was more a story of “a day in the life of” type book where a fair amount of focus is on the day to day activities of the crew. Sure there is character development but this story had the potential for action and drama. But I am now listening to..

I have really enjoyed the series, and I plan to continue with it, but I was slightly disappointed with the turn away from the trade element and towards people beating each other up. If this had been the first one, I had read, I might not continue with the series.

The main characters, Bones and Maddock, are always entertaining. Their adventures are entertaining, making them good companions for walking the dog.

I really enjoyed this read. Get me guessing and made my imagination run wild!I definitely recommend this. Jeremy Robinson just keeps hitting dingers!
Spoiler: the kaiju is a murdered child, and the author’s treatment and characterization of this character is upsetting and gross. overall it was quite distasteful as a narrative to me. the voice performance is admirable, I would listen to a different book read by this narrator.
