If you enjoy sarcastic humorous movies you will probably like this book. The story is good and moves at a good pace with the right amount of action and character building.

The female narrator has strange inflections when reading making it difficult to listen to. The story is a copy cat of 50 Shades of Grey and it is so close to the story line it was boring at times. There was a slight change up but no urge to move on in the series.

I am still chuckling as I write, trying to hold back another belly laugh as I went my pants. This novel, the actors, the originality… everything culminated into sheer delight! Please quickly write the next book and make this a series. Also, this needs to go straight to screenplay! This will be a DELIGHTFUL movie!..

If you are having trouble falling asleep this is a great book. If not, you might want to look elsewhere. The audiobook is like a soundtrack for watching paint dry. The worlds JR creates are second to none!! Another fun ride here, I went in not liking monster books but But after reading the first few of the series I am off to the tattoo parlor to get a Kaiju tattoo, well maybe I don’t like KaiJu that much but these books are fantastic

I’m still laughing while listening to these books. The shadow master is definitely an interesting character. I’m having fun listening to these and am excited to see what else is going to happen with this series.
