I have listened to this book multiple times. I keep coming back to it, and the sequels are good too. If you like kaiju movies but wish the human plots weren’t excruciatingly bad, this one is for you.

I had gotten used to RC Bray doing the reading, but for this book, Jeffery Kafer was the right choice. His reading style is 1940’s private investigator, but it works for this story.
I really loved the way it went. I do feel like the back and forth is a lot sometimes.the narrative is oh k I just wish that when the male is going to talk during the female part they use the males voice. Can’t wait to start the next book.
I can be a tough pill to swallow looking at one’s personal motives. The Elephant in the Brain shows us some interesting psychological aspects of ourselves. A con being it got kind of repetitive so would have to switch books before coming back to it. This can make it hard to follow but the authors..

A predictable plot, poor writing and a performance sounding like a bad imitation of Dirty Harry… I was bored.
Be warned that an hour of this book is just a preview of the next book. A 6 hour story is way too short. The book itself was decent.
